NYCへの目的、動物の輸入代行は任せてください。

今回私が、なぜアメリカに行っているかというと、「グルメレポート食い倒れ、ニューヨーク」を書く為ではありません。日本では、まだとても珍しい、トイボブという種類の猫を輸入するためです。

トイボブの、ゼインとメロディーよろしくお願いします。　トイボブはとてもユニークなロシア産の猫です。世界一小さいと言われています。

The purpose of visit to the State is not to write the gourmet report… to come here is to bring 2 cats home. The Toybob. The Toybob is the smallest cat in the world from Russia, we are now getting into Toybob breed cycle.

Zane is a male cat and his coat is Black Smoke. Also Melody is a female cat and her coat is Lynx point.

We are looking forward to welcoming them into Japan.

 

 

輸入するには、日本の検疫をクリアーして、狂犬病がないことを証明しなければなりません。

狂犬病の注射をし、１ヶ月経ったら、またもう一度狂犬病の注射をします、この時にテストも出せます。何もなければ、その後６ヶ月間の検疫を経て、日本に晴れて、猫を連れてこれるのです。

To export them from the States, to import them to Japan, there are lot of paper works and back and forwards with Quarantine people.

1^stRabie’s shot for 2 times and then wait 6 moths to clear the quarantine.

Now we finished that time after long wait, here I am in NYC, picking up the cats.

 

ですから、今回は、連れてくる関係でした。私は、ニューヨークにつき、男の子のゼインを迎えに、違う空港に走りました。JFKで降りて、ホテルに行き、その後Newark というニュージャージー州の飛行場に、迎えに行きました。電車は結構わかりやすいので、ニュージャージーの飛行場ニュアックまではそんなに問題はありませんでした。

その日は、ホテルに着き、すぐに休みました。

The day arrived at JFK, I went to the hotel, left all luggage there to go to Newark Airport to pick Zane up!! It was rather easy and smooth, I went back to the hotel and finished the day. I had a great sleep.

 

次の日は、獣医さんに連れて行きました。ジジと待ち合わせて、メロディーも一緒に獣医さんに連れて行きました。ジジとその後ディナーを一緒に食べて、いよいよ次のステップは農林水産省のスタンプゲットだぜ！！

Then, the next day I went to the Vet at NYC and got together with Gigi and get Melody from her. Gigi and I had a dinner together.

Well, all the paper work has been done and ready to go to USDA.

 

３日目のUSDAは農林水産省です。行く前に書類をチェックしていたら、ACフォームに獣医さんのスタンプないじゃん。[ぎゃ〜〜〜〜] それが一番必要な書類なのに、他のには、スタンプあるのに、ヤバイヤバイ、と思って、ネットで検索すると獣医さんは、朝7時にオープンそこで、走って獣医さんに直行、「これにサインして〜〜〜」と言ったら快くサインしてくれました。よかった。そして、タクシーに乗って、USDAまで行きました。

The morning of 3^rdday in NYC, I double checked the paper work and found out the most important paper work called “AC” has not signed by the vet… I looked up the open time of the doctor. 7:00am… I rushed back to the Vet clinick and asked the vet to sign the form. She was happy to sign the form and went back to the station to get the taxi!!

 

USDAで、出国許可しょを日本の入国許可署にスタンプをしてもらうことにより、出国できることになります。今回の一番大事な作業。３時間ぐらい時間がかかりました。獣医さんがなかなかペーパーワークを訂正してくれなかったからです。12時半USDAが閉まる寸前にファックスが送られてきて、スタンプを押してもらいました。３時間の間、ここから、どうやって帰ろうか。と思いました。何たって、バスまで、20分歩きそこから、バスでJFKに行っても１時間はかかるとか、変なロケーション。レンタカーとかないし。色々考えて、前の日、Gigiが言っていたUberを思い出しました。待っている間に、Uberのアプリを取得、登録、そして、終わったら、Uberを呼びました。すごい楽！！

Uberの運転手さんにまさこさんの絵の飾ってある市庁舎のホールまで連れて行ってもらいました。

At the USDA, I was told the lot number was different and the vet that was issued need to send the fax, well, he didn’t sent it for a while I was panicking and about 12:30 it was about closed, the sent it. So I got the stamp from USDA, about 3 hours I was waiting at the USDA, thinking about how to go back to Manhattan… it takes 1 hour to get to even JFK…

Gigi last night told me all about Uber, so downloaded the app, I used Uber to go to the City Hall to see Masako’s brilliant work.

 

まあ、こんな感じで、３日間は、ずっと猫のことをやっていました。

その後、日本の検疫にメールを送ると、全てオッケー。これでホッとして、NHLを見に行ったという運びです。

しかし、USDAでは、長く待たされて、不安だったし、どうしよう、どうしよう、とすごかった。マーゴとジジが一生懸命「スタンプもらったらそれでいいのよ。」と言ってくれたからよかったものの、それまでは本当にストレスとパニック状態。本当にマーゴとジジには感謝です。

So 3 days, I was working on cats.. after I got Japanese quarantine’s clarification, I was so happy and could enjoy my self but before that, I was worried, I was panicked etc…

Thanks for Margo and Gigi, everything went OK.

It was rather funny, Gigi and Margo told me when I was panicking about the paper work, “Calm down, Kazumi, the most important thing is the stamp that you already got.” Until then I was in stress and panick… LOL!!
